I've commissioned and co-directed a number of short films - turning content ideas and stories into online films, applying brand messages and aesthetic throughout. These have varied in budget and production scale. The Volvo V40 film was used by the German market as a TVC.
I commissioned and co-directed a series of videos for Volvo to be originally used as online launch films. Working with Director Joe Windsor-Williams and DOP Aadel Nodeh-Farahani shooting a pre-production Volvo V40 on location in Bilbao, Spain and Gothenburg, Sweden. An edit was used as a TVC in Germany.
I commissioned and co-directed a short film for the facelifted Volvo XC70. Working with director Anton Watts and DOP Aadel Nodeh-Farahani we shot on location in Dubai as well as shooting stills for the Volvo magazine.

Whilst shooting still shots for ZoomZoom magazine, working with photographer Wilson Hennessy I art directed beauty shots of the new Mazda6 model and lighting effects that conveyed a sense of motion and energy of the cars and the Mazda brand and highlighted the cars’ dynamic design. This was edited with interviews with the team team to give a brief introduction to the new model. We used LAYAR augmented reality app technology to bring the film to life on mobile phones from the magazine photography.
Working with Chris Waggott of Common Works, I directed a short film for ELLE Decoration about the collaboration between Designer's Guild and Bisazza.
